Travel articles Take Me Home, Italian Roads I've just completed a jaunt along Mexico's Mayan Riviera (more on that soon), and although I still have another month or so on the road, word of new openings in my adopted country, Italy, has been tempting me home. If you are heading that way this year, here are some places that you, too, should keep on the radar.
Monte Carlo Affordable elegance with family-friendly amenities. Styled after Monaco's Place du Casino, this more affordable (and less luxurious) version of the Bellagio surrounds guests with quiet elegance and beautiful surroundings. The southern Strip location is very convenient, and a monorail to the Bellagio cuts down on walking time. Grand Floridian Resort The flagship Disney World resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort surrounds you with stately, turn-of-the-century charm. The Grand Floridian is located across the lake from the Magic Kingdom, and is on the monorail line. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort has a full-service spa and the only Disney restaurant with a dress code, Victoria and Albert's.
